New Fiction from Tigroney Press: THE TIMEKEEPERS

New Fiction From Tigroney Press

A new novel from Nick Gray, a scientist at Trinity College Dublin.  Well known for his science writing and books such as Facing up to Global Warming, The Timekeepers is his first novel  since 1984.

This complex thriller, based on reality, is about a crime that could change society for ever.  Thirty nanoseconds is just a third of a billionth of a single second, which is no time at all.  So when the atomic clock network is attacked and universal time is altered by 30 nanoseconds, scientists are left wondering just how and why it was done.  A specially assembled team of FBI and CIA Agents try to work out what crime can be carried out in just 30 nanoseconds, and begin to realize that everything from GPS to mobile communications could be compromised. With the help of NASA, the truth slowly emerges that modern communications technology could be on the point of melt down.
